Getting Started

The electronic information network of Blue Cross, called e-Practice Management (e-PM), offers electronic connections for our affiliated providers through Practice Management software vendors, PCEMC+ vendors, and our online applications.

If you are looking for a new system it is suggested that you check our Vendor Functionality Matrix (VFM) for the vendor systems that are authorized to access our network. Although the listing includes different pieces of information available through their product, we only annotate the functionality that we validate. There may be additional functionality in the software that would prove beneficial to you (such as automatic posting of remittances, scheduling abilities that cross-reference other pieces of the software to automatically pull in information for claim building, etc.) Be sure to make a list of questions to ask a prospective new vendor so you can ensure your needs will be addressed.
