New Patient vs. Established Patient
New Patient
- A patient who is new to the physician and whose medical record must be established.
- A patient who has not been seen within the last three years by the attending physician or another physician of the same specialty in your office.
Established Patient
- A patient whose records are available to the provider.
- A patient who has been seen in your office within the last three years either by the attending physician or another physician of the same specialty in the office.
