Quality Forum - 5 Points
The Quality Forum is a collaboration between Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama, the Alabama Hospital Association, and the Alabama Quality Assurance Foundation. Following are the Quality Forum’s continued goals:
- Improved care through hospitals’ adoption of practices that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes;
- Rapid adoption of best practices by network hospitals; and
- Collecting aggregate statewide data for benchmarking purposes.
