In an effort to help our customers make more informed decisions, satisfaction surveys will be collected for providers who treat Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama patients. Consumers have expressed a strong desire for consumer ratings and reviews for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama providers. Patients have been found to be more engaged if given the opportunity for their voices to be heard.
The survey collection process begins in early 2010. The ability to submit a survey for a particular provider is based on the submission of a claim for that patient, by that provider, and the surveys will only be completed electronically behind myBlueCross.com. This site requires a secure log-in.
