Getting Started

Thank you for your interest in the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama electronic network. All software vendors, billing services and clearinghouses must complete the following forms to begin the vendor testing process:

There are additional required enrollment forms you must submit for your clients before their access to our data is permitted. The required forms vary dependent on whether your client is new to EDI, an existing EDI submitter, and which transactions they request. If you are an existing vendor, please speak with your assigned EDI Services Representative at 205-220-6899. If you are a new vendor, please contact our EDI vendor testing mailbox at edivendortesting@bcbsal.org for assistance in the new vendor process.
