The BlueCare Advocacy program helps members navigate the complex healthcare system by providing one on one support. Our advocates are here to explain benefits, connect members to resources, and answer questions related to a variety of healthcare needs. The result – lower stress, lower costs and better quality of life.
Here are a few things our health advocates do for our members:
- Locate and research treatment options for complex medical conditions
- Connect you with community services, support groups and other resources
- Recommend programs and services available to you
- Help you and your family understand preventive screenings and care gaps
- Assist with the certification process
- Coordinate the transfer of medical records
- Research hospital and doctor billing issues
