Whether blending this up as a morning meal, pre- or post- workout snack, or summer cool-down drink, this smoothie checks all the boxes. Filling, full of healthy and seasonal produce, and super tasty, it’s a great way to stay hydrated and satisfied on a hot summer day.

With a hint of basil, a squeeze of lemon, and a hearty helping of Swiss chard and strawberries, you'll feel energy levels rise almost instantly. The recipe is also so loaded with antioxidants—like Vitamin C—that those free radicals won't even know what hit ‘em.

Serves 1

What You'll Need:

  • 1 handful Swiss chard
  • 1/4 cup strawberries
  • 1/2 a lemon, squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed
  • 2 basil leaves 
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 2 ice cubes

What to Do:

  1. Wash all ingredients 
  2. Blend ingredients until smooth
  3. Add ice and blend again
  4. Garnish with fresh basil and flaxseed
