Be Healthy School Grants 2017
Recipients
In our commitment to help prevent childhood obesity, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama’s Be Healthy School Grant Program supports schools throughout Alabama. The grants are for the implementation of school-based health and wellness programs, emphasizing increased exercise, nutrition education and parental involvement during the school year.
During the school year 2017 - 2018 Blue Cross awarded grants totaling $250,000 to 26 schools throughout the state. The participating schools were:
