Be Healthy School Grant 2019

Recipients

In our commitment to help prevent childhood obesity, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama's Be Healthy School Grant Program supports schools throughout Alabama. The grants are for the implementation of school-based health and wellness programs, emphasizing increased exercise, nutrition education and parental involvement during the school year.

During the school year 2019 – 2020 Blue Cross has committed grants totaling $324,200 to 33 schools throughout the state impacting 15,004 students. The participating schools are:
