Be Healthy School Grants 2018
Recipients
In our commitment to help prevent childhood obesity, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama’s Be Healthy School Grant Program supports schools throughout Alabama. The grants are for the implementation of school-based health and wellness programs, emphasizing increased exercise, nutrition education and parental involvement during the school year.
During the school year 2018 - 2019 Blue Cross has committed grants totaling $261,200 to 27 schools throughout the state impacting 11,174 students. The participating schools are:
